Norton Safe Search is an online security tool that gives you peace of mind by letting you know if a site is potentially unsafe. This tool helps you stay safe online by identifying and/or filtering out suspicious sites from your search results.
How does it work?
The application is an Internet browser that uses the Google Chrome web browser engine. It can be installed as a browser on your Android device.
When you search for something on the Internet, the results you get are the results from a website. The website you are viewing can have various security attributes that are determined by the organization that hosts it. Some websites may be safe, while others are unsafe. If the website you are viewing has a security rating, then it will be displayed in the results you get. If it doesn't, then it won't.
